OUR TEAM

The people behind Lofy’s Place

Lofy’s Place is guided by a committed and diverse board whose members bring together expertise in art, education, finance, communication, design, and cultural leadership.

Under the presidency of Tanya Lofy, the project’s vision is rooted in both personal legacy and artistic conviction. Alongside her, Isabelle Kieffer, Treasurer, ensures financial clarity and responsibility, while Christine Klein, Secretary, supports the organisational structure with care and dedication.

Board members Monique Bernard, Mary Carey, Jane Graham, and Fränk Weber contribute their respective expertise in professional development, education, finance, media, design, photography, and strategic development. Together, they form a collective shaped by creativity, professionalism, and a shared commitment to the cultural importance of the project.

Each member brings not only expertise, but a deep commitment to reviving this house as a place of art and community.

How it all began

As the daughter of two artists, Tanya Lofy’s artistic practice has been central to her life from an early age. After completing two diplomas in art, she spent several years working alongside her father in Luxembourg while developing her own career as an independent artist. Her daily practice of drawing and painting has remained a source of grounding, mindfulness, and personal growth.

Following her father’s passing in June 2021, Tanya inherited an extensive collection of his sculptures, paintings, drawings, photographs, sketchbooks, and personal artefacts. The convergence of her artistic background, her personal commitment, and the unique cultural and historical value of the site led to the creation of Lofy’s Place ASBL.
